Pain Treatment
Spinal and nerve-related pain are common problems that reduce quality of life and restrict sleep and movement. The goal of treatment is not just to “silence” the pain, but to accurately identify the underlying cause and create a long-term and safe solution. Therefore, we evaluate the patient holistically, considering daily habits, working conditions, and co-existing illnesses.
Treatment plans are individualized. Medications, targeted exercises and physical therapy programs, and posture and ergonomic adjustments are fundamental steps. In patients where deemed necessary, the source of pain can be directly targeted with interventional methods such as nerve blocks guided by X-ray or ultrasound, epidural injections, facet joint treatments, and radiofrequency ablation. In some cases, if there is an underlying structural problem (spinal stenosis, significant nerve compression, slippage), surgical treatment may provide permanent relief. Regular follow-up and a sustainable exercise routine at home are crucial in maintaining the achieved improvement.
