Prof. Dr. Deniz Konya, a faculty member at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery, provides outpatient services at his private clinic and performs surgical procedures at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital. Born in Giresun in 1972, Dr. Konya graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialization training in Neurosurgery at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2002.
After completing his specialization training, Dr. Konya continued to work at the Department of Neurosurgery, Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2004-2005, he completed his clinical (Director: Prof. Dr. Peter McL. Black) and experimental studies as a fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard University Faculty of Medicine, and at the Spinal Cord Injury and Stem Cell Center, VA West Roxbury Hospital (Director: Ass. Prof. Dr. Teng Yang).

Physiotherapist Beyza Yıldız is a graduate of Acıbadem University’s Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. She specializes in spinal health and holds the ISST Schroth Therapist certification. She is also certified by Australian Sports as a Pilates Instructor and holds a Mulligan’s Concept Manual Therapy certification, enabling her to apply manual techniques. With her clinical and holistic approach, she offers treatment and exercise programs tailored to individual needs; providing both in-person and online consultation services.
Arzu Gökmen YAMANEL
Diet and Nutrition
Arzu Gökmen Yamanel, who graduated from Hacettepe University’s Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2006, worked at Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, where she established the hospital kitchen, managed all kitchen-related processes, and founded a full-fledged Nutrition and Dietetics Department at the university. In 2007, she was appointed to Sultanbeyli State Hospital, where she managed the hospital kitchen and nutrition-diet processes. Between 2007 and 2011, she provided part-time outpatient services in Ataşehir. In 2008, she began her Master’s degree in Phytotherapy at Yeditepe University’s Institute of Health Sciences. Later, she started her doctoral program in Pharmacognosy at Yeditepe University’s Institute of Health Sciences. In 2010, she started her new position at Göztepe Medical Park Hospital Complex. In 2011, she established the first Nutrition and Herbal Treatment outpatient clinic in Turkey and the world. By customizing individual nutrition programs, she has also created the “Personalized Nutrition and Herbal Treatment” program. She was also a pioneer in the field of nutrigenetics, bringing the science of nutrigenetics from the laboratory to the clinic. By combining nutrigenetics, herbal treatments, and nutritional sciences, she has taken personalized nutrition programs to the highest level. She provided corporate nutrition consulting services to Avivasa in 2013 and to Viko Elektrik in 2014.
